Description
The Paddocks is a farmhouse from the mid-18th century that has been altered. It is built from coursed red sandstone and has a grey slate roof that is felted. The building has three storeys and features three windows. There are two one-storey canted bay windows, which have two panes, four panes, and two panes respectively, and these support a hipped slate roof over a porch that contains mid-19th century glazed double doors. The second storey has 12-pane recessed sash windows, while the third storey features square 12-pane casements. A tall staircase window is located in the left gable end. At the rear, there is a gabled porch with a door made up of four pecked fielded panels and two glazed panels, along with six-pane casements that sit under wedge lintels. Additionally, there are small one-storey lean-to wings on both the left and right sides of the building.
