Description
Folly Tower, located south west of Fox Hill, is a roofless chamber designed as a small tower, likely built in the mid 19th century. The structure features red sandstone walls with a concave batter, constructed from rock-faced masonry that tapers towards the top. There are two monolithic steps leading to a doorway, which is fitted with a barred iron gate topped by a circular opening. Each of the other sides has a rectangular barred opening, all of which have chamfered arrises. A corbel table supports a mock parapet consisting of one course.
