Description
Stonebroom Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the mid-18th century and greatly extended in the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone with gritstone dressings and features a slate roof with a stone ridge. The building has brick gable end and ridge stacks. It consists of three bays and three storeys. The entrance has a flush quoined doorcase with a 20th-century door. On either side of the door, there are two-light flush mullion windows. To the east, there is a 20th-century door under a bracketed roof, accompanied by 20th-century two-light flush mullion windows. Above the entrance, there are three two-light flush mullion windows, with the western ones dating from the 18th century and the eastern one from the 20th century. Additionally, there are three 19th-century casement windows above the eaves.
