Description

The lychgate at the Church of Holy Cross was designed in 1913 by Gladwyn Turbutt and built in 1914. It is constructed from sandstone ashlar and features a stone slate roof with stone coped gables. The structure has two heavy gable end walls with buttresses on the east side, and a robust stone slate roof that is supported across the entrance by a wooden bressumer.
