Description
Swan Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid 18th century to the early 19th century, with renovations carried out in the 1980s. It is built from coursed sandstone rubble, featuring gritstone dressings and quoins on the north side. The roof is covered with 20th-century concrete tiles. The farmhouse has brick stacks at the gable ends and a rendered stack on the south side. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The entrance features a flush doorcase with a plank door. On either side of the door are 2-light flush mullion windows. To the south, there is another doorcase with a 20th-century door and a large 19th-century 2-light mullion window. Above this, there are three similar windows to those found below.
