Description
The Old Rectory is a house that was formerly a rectory, built in the mid-18th century. It features brick walls that are rendered and has slate roofs with gable ends and stone gable copings. There are brick stacks at the gable ends, and the building has an L-shaped plan.
The south front of the house has two storeys and three windows, which are vertical sashes with thin glazing bars. On the left side of the ground floor, there is a canted bay window, while on the right side, there is a segmental window head with a three-light sash. The west gable wall is slate-hung and includes a stone bay window with a pediment. A 20th-century front door is located in the re-entrant angle on the north side.
