Description
The Sherborne RDC Offices are a Grade II listed building located on the south side of Greenhill. This three-storey structure features a four-window stone front and is topped with a slate gabled roof, complemented by brick stacks on either side. The architectural details are characteristic of the early 19th century, although the two lower storeys may date from an earlier period. The lower storeys are adorned with casement windows that have stone architraves, each supported by a cast iron bracket in the center. The second floor is fitted with sash windows. The entrance features a stone architrave with panelled reveals and a six-panelled door. The building is part of a group of listed buildings on the north side of Greenhill, extending from Newell Cottage to Belmont, and on the south side from Delta to the premises occupied by Godden and Curtis.
