Description

Greenlands Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse with later alterations. It is constructed of rubble walls with brick and occasional stone quoins, and has a tiled roof. The farmhouse has two brick gable stacks, which have been renewed. It is a one-and-a-half-storey building with 3 to 4 windows, mostly wooden casements of 2 lights, with one of 3 lights. The windows have renewed wooden lintels. The front door is a 20th-century addition, set within a modern wood porch. Inside, there are shallow-chamfered beams from the 18th century. There is an open fireplace with a depressed arch bressummer, also with the same chamfer. A staircase rises from the front entrance to the rear wall. A service outshut is located at the rear, built of rubble walls with brick quoins and a Roman tile roof. A former cider house is attached at the right-hand end, using the same materials. The cider house has a 19th-century plank door at the rear with a stop-chamfered door frame.
