Description
Penn Farmhouse and the attached farm buildings date from the early 18th century. The farmhouse features rubble walls and a tile roof with gable ends, along with renewed brick stacks at the gables. It is two storeys high and has three windows, which are casements with wooden glazing bars, lintels, and cills. The front door is slightly left of centre and is a plank door with a wooden lintel above it. Inside, there is an open fireplace on the right side, complete with a chamfered wooden lintel and run-out stops. A staircase runs transversely at the centre, leading up to a back corridor. The attached farm buildings include stables and a barn, which also have rubble walls and patent tile roofs, featuring brick quoins around the openings and blue lias quoins.
