Description
Manor Thatch Cottage is an 18th-century detached cottage located at right-angles to the lane. It features rubble walls that are roughcast and a thatch roof with block ridging. There are brick stacks at each gable. The cottage is 1½ storeys high and has a range of four windows. The wooden casements are halved by a glazing-bar and have completely intact small square leaded lights. The entrance includes a 20th-century studded plank door with a thatch canopy above. Inside, there is a deep-chamfered ceiling beam and an open fireplace that includes a bread oven.
