Description

New House consists of two attached cottages that were formerly one farmhouse, dating from the mid 17th century. The building features rubble walls with stone quoins and a thatched roof, complemented by an 18th-century brick stack. It stands two storeys high and has a four-window range, which includes wooden casements and one stone mullioned window with a label. The north end has a stone-coped gable. Inside, there are two deep-chamfered beams, two large open fireplaces, flagstones in the cross passage, and a plank door.
