Description

Hewood Cottages, consisting of Nos 8 and 9, are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They feature stone rubble walls with red brick dressings and a Bridgwater tile roof with gabled ends. The cottages are one and a half storeys high and have a three-window range. The windows are modern casements, and there are two gabled dormers. A 20th-century glazed door and porch are also present. These cottages are included in the listing for their group value.
