Description

Wood End Farm Cottages, consisting of Nos 1 and 2, are a pair of cottages dating from the late 16th century or early 17th century. They feature a timber frame that was extended at the rear in the mid to late 19th century. The cottages have a plain tile roof and a front facade that is cased in 17th century and 20th century red brick, while the rear is finished in stucco. The building is two storeys high and the front section comprises two bays. There are three glazing bar casements, with the rightmost window having a segmental head. The cottages also have 17th century end chimney stacks that have been restored in the 20th century. The rear section includes four recessed sash windows.
