Description

ST BURYAN SW 42 NW 5/62 House, at approximately 40 metres - north west of Trelew Farmhouse GV II House. Probably C18. Grouted granite ashlar front, otherwise granite rubble with granite dressings. Grouted scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over the granite coped gable ends. Corrugated iron roof over rear lean-to. Plan: L-shaped plan. Probably parlour on the left; slightly larger kitchen on the right with cross passage and stair between and later (circa early C19) lean-to behind the kitchen. Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical 2 window south-east front with first floor windows set closer together. Original openings. Doorway left of middle ledged door. Circa late C19 or C20 6-pane horned sashes. Small stair window at rear. Interior: Original or C19 partitions, floors and roof structure. Large fireplace in right-hand room.
