Description

ST BURYAN SW 42 NW 5/61 Piggery , shippon and milk-stand - immediately north west of Trelew Farmhouse GV II Piggery, shippon and milk-stand. Circa mid C19 but rear wall is earlier and integral with adjoining house (qv). Roughly coursed granite rubble with granite dressings. Plan: L-shaped plan with range of 5 pigstys with probably a swill kitchen on the right and wing at right angles in front of the left-hand side is a small shippon with large milk stand built against its right-hand wall. Exterior: Single storey. Original openings. 6 doorways to front of piggery,central doorway with small flanking windows to front (right-hand) wall of shippon. Interior not inspected.
