Loose Boxes At Approximately 60 Metres West Of Trengothal Farmhouse

The loose boxes located approximately 60 metres west of Trengothal Farmhouse date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and feature an L-shaped plan with a scantle slate roof that has gable ends. The building is single storey and has mostly unaltered elevations, although the window in the middle of the right-hand gable end has been enlarged in the 20th century to create a doorway. The south-east front includes three doorways on the right and a gable-ended wing at right angles in front of the left side, which has a doorway near the angle. Both gable ends retain their original doorway on the right. The interior has not been inspected. This structure is part of an unspoiled hamlet that includes an interesting group of farmhouses and farm buildings, all set in a beautiful rural landscape.
