Description
Two loose boxes located to the north-west of Meldon Park Farmhouse are part of a planned farm building complex dating from 1809. They are constructed from squared stone with dressings and feature slate roofs. These small detached buildings stand side by side, with the south end of each having double doors set beneath a segmental arch and an open-pedimented gable. The east wall of the west loose box has been rebuilt inside its original line. The buildings are listed for their group value. To the rear, there is a cattle yard covered by 20th-century sheds, and the remains of arcaded hemmels to the north of the yard have been altered too much to be of interest.
