Description
The building known as the eastern two houses on the north side, numbered 5 and 6, is a house that has been converted into two dwellings. It dates from the 18th century and underwent alterations in the 19th century. The structure is made of squared stone with dressings and features a slate roof. The main part of the building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, which are slightly irregular. There is a renewed door located left of centre, framed by a heavy block surround, and 12-pane sash windows, with the ground floor windows having been renewed. The later left part of the building is also two storeys high and has two bays, featuring a renewed door and 12-pane sash windows. A large square stone chimney stack is located on the ridge, with a stone stack at the left end and a rendered brick stack at the right end.
