Description
Besowsa Farmhouse's loose boxes, located approximately 50 metres south of the farmhouse, date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of granite rubble with quoins and dressings, topped by a hipped slate roof at one end. The building has a long rectangular shape. The loose box section on the left features one wide door and three stable-type doors. The cattle-shelter on the right was originally open to a courtyard and supported by granite posts, but is now partly blocked with rubble walling. In the northeast corner, there is an engaged round gate pier that likely connected to a simple yard wall, which now serves as the back wall of the building. This structure is included for its group value.
