Description

The watering place in Launceston is likely from the early 19th century. It features a dressed granite engaged portal set against a slatestone rubble wall. The lintel has a design that resembles a pediment and is supported by two tapered square engaged columns. These columns have echinus moulding on their caps and sit on plain square bases.
