Description

No. 32 St Stephen’s Hill is a pair of small houses, now combined into a single dwelling, dating from the 18th century. The exterior is rendered over a rubble base, topped with a steeply pitched roof of rag slate, stepped at the eaves, and featuring brick end stacks. The building has a single-depth plan with later rear extensions. It is two storeys high, with a three-window facade. The windows are early 19th-century sixteen-pane hornless sash windows, with the exception of a horned copy window that replicates the appearance of a former doorway located to the right of the centre, and a large 20th-century three-light transomed casement with glazing bars on the left. The front door is an early 19th-century six-panel door with a two-pane overlight. The interior of the property has not been inspected.
