Description

Kellow Crafts is a shop with a house attached to the right, likely built in the 18th century, with later alterations and additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of stone rubble, rendered and lined out, and features a slate roof with ridge tiles, hipped to the left and gabled at the right end. There is an axial stack that heats two rooms at the left end.

The layout includes Kellow Crafts on the left, which has a two-room plan. The attached house on the right also has a two-room plan with a central entrance. This house features a door leading to the room on the right and a one-room addition at the right end, heated by a gable end stack.

The exterior is two storeys high. Kellow Crafts has a half-glazed door from the 20th century on the ground floor, along with a 16-pane 19th-century sash window and a 2-light casement. The first floor has two 2-light casements with 8 panes and L hinges. The attached house has a 4-panelled door, a 16-pane 19th-century sash window to the left, and a 3-light 20th-century casement and door to the right. The first floor features two 19th-century 2-light casements with 8 panes and hinges. The end addition to the right has a ground floor 20th-century window with a segmental head and a first-floor 19th-century 2-light casement with 8 panes and L hinges. The right side of the building is slate-hung at the upper level. The interior has not been inspected.
