Description

MABE SW 73 SW 2/75 Pigsty at SW744311 (at approx 100 metres south of Eathorne House) II Probable pigsty. Probably C18. Granite rubble with some dressed granite. Oval plan about 2 metres deep with domed corbelled roof. South-west doorway is spanned by roughly-dressed granite voussoirs forming a segmental arch. Boarded over at the time of the survey. Compare this interesting structure with buildings at Higher Spargo, Trenoweth and Roscollas, all in Mabe parish.
