Description
This building is a probable pigsty, likely dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with some dressed granite. The structure has an oval plan and is approximately 2 metres deep, featuring a domed corbelled roof. The south-west doorway is spanned by roughly-dressed granite voussoirs that form a segmental arch. At the time of the survey, the doorway was boarded over. This interesting structure can be compared to similar buildings found at Higher Spargo, Trenoweth, and Roscollas, all located in Mabe parish.
