Description
A range of farm buildings dated 1858, located immediately south-south-west of Tresahor Veor. The buildings are constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and have a scantle slate roof, with a half-hipped barn roof, gable ends to the granary wing, and a hipped end to the stable wing. The layout is a T-shaped plan. The main range is low and two-storeyed, with a granary over an implement shed at the south end and stables and cartsheds at the north end. A barn with shippons below, and a stable or engine house addition, joins the other ranges at the centre of the east front. The barn’s north front features three shippon doorways, with a loading doorway above in the centre of the first floor, flanked by two windows. A granite tablet bearing the initials "C.M." and the date 1858 is located to the left of the loading doorway. A large granite staircase with projecting treads leads to the back of the barn. The stable/engine house at the east end has a lower, gable-ended roof. The stable and cartshed range, at a right angle to the north, has a segmentally arched cartshed with a keystone and stable doors on the ground floor, with loft windows above. The granary range, at a right angle to the rear (south) of the barn, has an open-fronted implement shed with a timber-frame front to the granary above, which was originally slate-hung, and a granite staircase at the south end leading to the granary door. The interior was not inspected.
