Description
This milestone, located immediately west of Eathorne Bridge, dates from the late 19th century. It is made of painted dressed granite and stands about 1 metre high. The base is square in shape, while the upper section is triangular with a pyramidal top. On the left-hand face, it is inscribed with "Penryn 4 metres," and on the right-hand face, it reads "Gweek 4 M Lizard 14 M." The letters are painted in upper case within small recessed panels.
