ALTARNUN ALTARNUN SX 28 SW 4/57 House 10 metres to south west of - Rosebridge Cottage

GV II

House. Probably C18. Rendered and painted stone rubble and cob. Large stone rubble end stacks with slate strings and brick shaft on right. Asbestos slate roof with gable ends. Plan: The original plan is uncertain. The house has a two-room and cross or through passage plan, a larger room on right and smaller room on left, both heated by end stacks. There is a small C20 extension on the left hand end. Exterior: Two storeys. Asymmetrical 3-window front. C20 door to left of centre with 3-light casement to left and two 2-light casements to right. Three probably C20 2-light casements in gabled half dormers on first floor. Dressed round arch, partly blocked to form a window, in the right hand gable end. Interior: Not accessible.
