Description

This house, located 10 metres to the south-west of Rosebridge Cottage, is probably from the 18th century. It is constructed of rendered and painted stone rubble and cob, featuring large stone rubble end stacks with slate strings and a brick shaft on the right. The roof is made of asbestos slate with gable ends.

The original layout of the house is uncertain, but it has a two-room plan with a cross or through passage. The larger room is on the right and the smaller room is on the left, both of which are heated by end stacks. There is a small 20th-century extension on the left end.

The exterior is two storeys high with an asymmetrical three-window front. A 20th-century door is located to the left of centre, accompanied by a three-light casement to the left and two two-light casements to the right. On the first floor, there are three probably 20th-century two-light casements in gabled half dormers. Additionally, there is a dressed round arch in the right-hand gable end, which is partly blocked to form a window. The interior is not accessible.
