LEZANT - SX 38 SE 4/25 Cart shelter and pigs ties approx 30 m north west of Landue Barton

Landue Barton is shown on OS map as Landue. Cart shelter and attached pigsties. Early C19 with minor later alterations. Roughly coursed slate-stone with 3 granite posts to cart shelter; slate roofs, hipped to cart shelter. Enclose south side of farmyard. Cart shelter in 5 bays with 2-door pigsties set back to left; Interior: Cart shelter has collar truss roof with principal rafters extending further to front and resting on granite posts and on stone dividing wall between 2 right bays. Form part of a good farmyard group formerly associated with Landue Barton (qv). Included for group value.
