Description

This is a pair of gate piers, likely built in the early 19th century. They are made of granite and have a square section with moulded stepped capitals and ball finials. These piers were probably erected at the same time as the nearby Landue Lodge, which is dated 1823. They stand at the north-west entrance to Landue.
