Description

Landue Bridge is a bridge over a stream, dated 1824, with minor later repairs. It is constructed from roughly coursed slate-stone and features rounded granite coping that ends in square corner piers. The bridge has a single segmental arch made of granite ashlar voussoirs that extend through to the soffit, along with a moulded relieving arch. On the north side, there is a datestone inscribed with "This bridge/....../AD 1824". The bridge spans the Lowley Brook.
