Description
Little Comford is a house built in the late 18th century, with an extension added in the early 19th century, along with later alterations. The building is constructed of rendered slate-stone and has a slate roof. The original three-bay house was extended by one bay to the left in the early 19th century. It is two storeys high and features an original three-window front with 16-paned glazing bar sashes that have horns. A 20th-century fixed-light window has replaced the former central doorway. There are integral end stacks, with the left stack now a ridge stack at the junction with the 19th-century addition, which includes a glazing bar sash on the first floor and a fixed-light window on the ground floor. The left end also has an integral end stack with slate drips. Additionally, there are 19th-century lean-tos attached to each gable end.
