Description

This headstone, dated 1768, commemorates William Tresidder and is located approximately 4 meters north of the tower of the Church of Saint Piran in Perranarworthal. It is a thin slate monolith with a square head, featuring an incised inscription that reads: "William Tresidder departed this life 12 July 1768 of thee Farewell vain World. I've Known enough of me Now am Careless what thou sayest Thy smiles I Court not Nor thy frowns. I Fear My Cares are Past My Head lies quiet Here."
