Description

The Holy Well of Saint Piran is a structure from the early to mid 19th century, located at an ancient site. It features a front made of granite ashlar with a granite lintel above the doorway. The well itself is shallow, cut into the side of a hill, and is fed by a natural spring. A 19th-century doorway has been constructed in front of the well, which has a roughly square area that is roofed by granite lintels.
