TREVALGA TREVALGA SX 09 SE 1/237 3 headstones of William Blewett, Ann Hocken and Ann Bersey 5 metres to east of chancel of Church of St Petroc GV II 3 headstones. 1764, 1775 and 1807. Headstone to south in memory of William Blewett who died in 1775 and his wife Jenefer who died in 1789. Slate rectangular headstone inscribed in upper and lower case lettering with serifs. Verse Since God was pleased to call us hence We'll fly to Him for our defence We trust in Christ our Saviour sweet With in his arms to rest and sleep Directly to north, headstone in memory of Ann daughter of Edward and William Hocken who died in 1807. Slate headstone with nowy head inscribed in upper and lower case lettering with serifs. Verse Life is uncertain Death is sure Sin gives the wound But Christ is the cure Directly to west, partly obscured by headstone of Ann Hocken, headstone in memory of Ann Bersey who died in 1764. Slate rectangular headstone inscribed in upper and lower case lettering with serifs. Farewell dear children in this world Whilst a while remain The Lord of Host by your Defence Till we do meet again.
