GV II

House. Circa early C19 incorporating C17 doorway. Granite and Elvan ashlar, granite sills. Slurried scantle slate roof with brick chimneys over cross party walls. Plan: 2 rooms with cross passage between plus circa early C20 conservatory at rear. Exterior : 2 storeys. Symmetrical 2 window north front with central doorway with 4- panel door. The doorway is C17 with moulded granite jambs and lintel and quirk and tongue stops. The right hand window opening has been larger, possibly converted to small shop front in the C19. 4-pane horned sashes to ground floor and original 16- pane hornless sashes to first floor. Interior not inspected.
