Description
This is a tombchest located 2 meters south of the west tower of the Parish Church in Menheniot. It is dedicated to Daniel Batten of Nodden, who died in 1788, his wife Margaret, who died in 1789, and their son Richard, who died in 1797. The tombchest is made of coursed ashlar slate stone and features a moulded cap along with an inscribed slate lid.
