Description

This milestone, located 80 metres southeast of Maryland Cottages, dates from the late 18th century. It is made of granite and has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The milestone is inscribed with the number "3" and the letter "B". It is associated with the Turnpike Road Act for roads leading to Bodmin, which was passed in 1769.
