Description

This milestone, located 40 metres to the northeast of Worthy Acre Cottage, dates from the late 18th century. It is made of granite and has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The milestone is inscribed and painted with the letter 'B' and the number '10'. This structure relates to the Turnpike Act for roads leading to Bodmin, which was passed in 1769.
