7/288 Gluyas monument at approximately 18 - metres south of west end of Church of Saint Sithney GV II

Monument. C18. To Ann Gluyas, died 1794 aged 65. Dressed granite with incised slate insert to the east side. Designed with an integral moulded buttress at the back and a triangular pediment at the top over an inscribed slate plaque at the front (east). The slate is inscribed to : Ann, wife of William Gluyas, Merchant in Marazion and has the epitaph: Snatched from this World tender Mother Wife to equal any other, But not too Good to die.
