Description

The war memorial, located by the south-west corner of the Church of St Gluvias, was erected around 1920. It features an inscription that reads, "IN MEMORY OF MEN FROM THE PARISH OF ST GLUVIAS WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES IN THE GREAT WAR (1914-1919) THAT WE MIGHT LIVE IN PEACE." The memorial is designed in a Celtic style, with a dressed granite wheel-head cross mounted on a tapered shaft, adorned with oak leaf decoration near the top.
