Ledra Mill And Adjoining Outbuilding To East

Ledra Mill and the adjoining outbuilding to the east is a house, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from rubble stone and features large granite lintels above the ground floor openings. The first floor openings are topped with segmental brick arches. The roof is covered with slurried slate and has early brick chimneys at the gable ends. The building is two storeys high and has a regular four-window front.

On the ground floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows without ears, which flank a 19th-century gabled porch. The porch has a stone base and an open timber frame with a corrugated iron roof. The entrance door is an early 19th-century six-panelled door. To the right, there is a four-pane sash window. The first floor features three 16-pane sash windows without ears, positioned above the ground floor windows, and there is a blocked window above the entrance door.

To the right of the main building, there is a two-storey barn extension, also built from rubble stone in the 18th century, which has a slurried slate roof. The ground floor includes a planked door flanked by two small slit windows, while the first floor has an asymmetrically placed planked stable door. There is evidence that the roof has been heightened. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension, and on the left-hand gable end, there is a lean-to used as a garage. The roof timbers are not accessible.

The gable ends of the mill are located on the opposite side of the stream, and some machinery and the axle for the water wheel are still present. Additionally, there is a rubble stone well located to the southeast of the house.
