Description
This is a cartshed dating from the early to mid-19th century, located approximately 10 meters southwest of Vellenewson Farmhouse. It is constructed from granite rubble, featuring dressed granite doorway jambs at the open end. The roof is made of corrugated iron and has gable ends that are also clad in corrugated iron. The structure has a rectangular plan with solid, unpierced walls on three sides, and it is open at the lower end, which faces south. This cartshed is part of an unspoiled group of buildings that includes an 18th-century farmhouse and a mill.
