Description
This is a cartshed located approximately 10 meters southwest of Lanyon Farmhouse, dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed from granite rubble with dressed granite monolith piers supporting the open front. The roof is hipped and covered with scantle slate. The structure has an L-shaped plan with a total of three bays: two shallow bays on the left and a wider, deeper bay on the right, which is likely designed for a wagon. The front is open with the wall plate exposed and supported by granite monoliths with wooden bearing pads. The right bay is significantly wider, with its hipped end supported by a cantilevered wall plate on the left and a rubble wall on the right.
