Description

GWINEAR-GWITHIAN SW 63 NW 5/4 Cartshed at approximately from 10 metres south west of Lanyon Farmhouse

GV II Cartshed. Circa mid-late C19. Granite rubble with dressed granite monolith piers carrying the open front. Hipped scantle slate roof. Plan: L-shaped 2:1 bay plan with 2 shallow depth bays on the left and a wider and deeper bay, presumably for a waggon, built forward on the right. Exterior: open 2:1 bay front with the exposed wall plate carried on granite monoliths with wooden bearing pads. The right hand bay is much wider and its hipped end is carried on a cantilevered wall plate on the left and a rubble wall on the right.
