Description

The Old Manse is a circa mid-19th century manse, now a private house. It is constructed of coursed faced granite with granite dressings. The roof is hipped, covered in dry Delabole slate with projecting eaves and brick chimneys set over the side walls. Cast-iron ogee gutters are also present. The building follows a double depth plan, featuring two equal reception rooms at the front, flanked by a central entrance hall that leads to a stair hall. This hall is situated between the rear service rooms. The south front is symmetrical, displaying three windows and a central doorway with an original four-panel door and overlight. Original twelve-pane hornless sash windows are retained. The interior was not inspected.
