Description

GRADE-RUAN ERISEY SW 71 NW 6/37 Outbuilding north-east of Erisey Manor House 10 7 57 GV II Outbuilding formerly stables. Circa C18. Fine serpentine ashlar front. Remaining walls of stone rubble. Slate roof with hipped gabled ends and clay ridge tiles with central clay finial. Rectangular deep plan with rubble stone extension under sloping slate roof on left hand gable end. 2 storeys, symmetrical plinth. Central wide round arched opening, blocked at top with rectangular planked door. 2 tall, narrow rectangular openings, partly glazed to far right and left with 2 similar openings, now blocked, between moulded string course. First floor: 2 square openings with timber shutters above ground floor windows with central wide opening, also with timber shutters. In right-hand gabled end, central first floor opening with evidence of blocked openings on ground floor.
