Description

Polstangey Bridge is a bridge over a stream, built around the mid-19th century. An earlier bridge is recorded in the Lanhydrock Atlas of 1690. The structure is made of rubble serpentine with granite quoins and dressings. It features two square openings with granite lintels. Although the bridge is fairly narrow, the parapets are splayed out over the abutments and have rounded granite copings.
