Description

A farmhouse, dating to approximately the 18th century and remodelled in the mid-19th century. The farmhouse is constructed of rubble stone with large rubble quoins on the south-east corner. Ground floor openings have granite lintels, while first floor openings have timber lintels. The roof is half-hipped, covered in scantle slate with clay ridge tiles, and features brick chimney stacks on the hipped gable ends. The building is two rooms deep with a central staircase. The right-hand side projects slightly forward. The two-storey, almost symmetrical front has three windows. Two 16-pane sash windows, without horns, flank a central, slightly set-back 19th-century six-panel timber door. The first floor has three 16-pane sash windows without horns. A central, plain 19th-century square baluster staircase is present. The interior was not inspected.
