Description

Thorn Cottages is a cottage dating from the late 18th century. It has a whitewashed and plastered exterior with a thatched roof that is gabled at both ends. The cottage features brick chimneys at the gable ends and is two storeys tall. The front is symmetrical with three windows and a central 19th-century front door that is sheltered by a slated canopy supported on brackets. On the ground floor, there are two windows, which are 2-light casements with two panes per light, and there are three similar windows on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
