Mill and cottage, now 2 cottages. Early C19. Rubble, front and gable of No 2 rendered, slate roof, but corrugated asbestos cement to outshut to No.2. No 1, to the right, is in 3 storeys, with a long single storey wing projecting forward on the right; at first floor is one 2-light glazing-bar casement, and at second floor are 2 smaller 2-light casements at the eaves. The return, outer gable has 3 casements and a door, and back has some glazing-bar casements. The low wing has C20 bow windows, and at centre of back eaves a brick stack. In the internal angle a glazed conservatory-porch over a glazed door. No 2 is the original cottage for the mill, in 2 storeys with 3 windows, all 16-pane sashes set not quite symmetrically over central C20 stable door. To the left a one storey lean-to with slate roof, and at the back in an added outshut on 2 storeys, four 2-light casements, two of these with glazing bars, a small square light at the eaves, and a glazed door; at the outer gable a square brick stack. The building lies close to the line of the former Bude Canal. The interiors not inspected.
