House. C18. Whitewashed rendered cob on stone plinth, left gable end rebuilt in brick, thatched roof, rendered brick gable end chimneys. Original plan may have been 2 rooms and cross passage. Present plan has entrance into stair hall, narrow kitchen to rear of stair. 2 storeys. 3 window front with slightly off- centre entrance. Ground floor windows timber sashes, 8 panes each sash that to the left enlarged, a tripartite sash window flanked by 2-pane lights. 3 first floor 2-light timber casements, 6 pane per light. Ground floor room right has 2 cross beams and partially blocked fireplace said to conceal earlier large fireplace. Partition walls of stair hall consist of wide planking, vertical on stair hall side, horizontal to ground floor room left. Principals visible in first floor rooms, timbers in roof said to be pegged. Important situation close to church in village.
