Description

The lych gate to the churchyard of the Church of St Marwenne is likely from the 18th century. It is made of dressed stone and features a pyramidal slate roof. The roof is simply constructed and is supported by solid stone side walls that are of unequal thickness. There are granite gateposts and a pair of timber gates from the 19th or 20th century located beneath the center of the roof. The roof also incorporates reused earlier timbers in its construction.
